Insurance and Payment Information
Anyone is eligible to receive home care, but you may be wondering how to pay for it. Medicare, commercial insurance and private pay are all options for Blessed Trinity Home Health Care services. Here’s a brief look at the specific criteria you’ll need to meet.
Traditional Medicare pays 100% of the skilled nursing and rehab treatment costs associated with home health care without deductibles or co-pays provide the patient meets Medicare guidelines and homebound criteria.

Commercial health insurance policies typically cover home care, but benefits vary from plan to plan. Coverage is verified prior to the beginning of care. Blessed Trinity Home Health will inform you of any anticipated financial responsibility for home services, but you are ultimately responsible for the benefits and limitations of your insurance policy(s), including deductibles, co pays, and non-covered services.
Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance generally pays for home healthcare. Depending on your policy and provider, you may be assigned a case manager to oversee your care. You will need a doctor’s note specifying that you need help with several activities of daily living to begin a claim. You’ll have a choice of home healthcare agencies at the time your claim is approved.
Patients have the option to pay out-of-pocket for home care services that fail to meet the criteria of third-party insurers.
